The Saucony x a-Feeling ProGrid Paramount takes a performance sneaker from the late 2000s and gives it a more thoughtful place in today’s streetwear conversation. Previewed during Paris Fashion Week in January 2026, the collaboration brings together Saucony’s running technology and a-Feeling’s emotion-driven approach to design.

The ProGrid Paramount first arrived in 2007 before returning in early 2026. Thankfully, the new version does not lose the Y2K character that made the original stand out. Instead, it refines the silhouette for everyday wear.
A Performance Shoe Built for Daily Life
The upper combines breathable open-air mesh with minimal synthetic overlays. An internal fabric cage also helps create a cleaner, more streamlined shape.
Underfoot, Saucony’s ProGrid cushioning offers responsive comfort and shock absorption. Meanwhile, Arch-lock medial support and a molded TPU heel cup provide added stability. In other words, the shoe may look ready for the street, but its performance roots are still doing real work.
The Idea Behind the Collaboration
For a-Feeling founder Drew White, the project is about more than updating an older sneaker. He looked to Saucony’s original “Science of WOW!” messaging and the way excitement can be understood without explanation.

“In the early 90s, Saucony’s original GRID System technology was once positioned as the ‘Science of WOW!,’ and that idea really stayed with me,” White said. “The expression of WOW is something that is universally understood across languages, it’s instinctual, emotional, and immediate. With this project, we wanted to tap into that shared sense of excitement and surprise, creating something that feels expressive without needing translation.”
White began developing his design perspective at Boston retailer Bodega in 2011. Since then, the Providence native has worked across footwear, apparel, materials, color and storytelling.
The unisex Saucony x a-Feeling ProGrid Paramount is priced at $185 and comes in sizes 5 through 12, plus 13 and 14. It launches exclusively through a-Feeling on June 28, followed by a global release through Saucony and select retailers on July 2.
